Albert-Victor Fournier (1872 - 1924) :
Trained as a painter under Jean-Léon Gérôme, Paul-Émile Boutigny, and Albert Maignan, Fournier exhibited regularly at the Salon des Artistes Français from 1901 onwards. Awarded prizes in 1902 and 1906, he was renowned for his seascapes and scenes of Breton life, particularly in Concarneau, where he sensitively captured the light of the ports and beaches.
