"Jc Peiré Trinket Tray, Black Boxing Glove, Circa 1970"
Decorative sculpture in the shape of a boxing glove, created by the French ceramist Jean-Claude Peiré (1943-2025). This piece is a classic of 1970s/80s Pop Art design, playing on the realism of forms and the contrast of materials. A curvaceous and dynamic silhouette, enhanced by a ceramic with an intense black glaze (mirror finish). Signed "JC Peiré Made in France". A rarer and larger model than the red one by the same ceramist, which I am offering separately (possibility of purchasing together). The glaze is magnificent, very glossy and without any major flaws; the original laces are well preserved. Very good condition.
