"Pair Of Bronze Statues "mitron And Young Girl" Early 19th Century"
Pair of bronze statues, "Baker's Boy and Young Girl," early 19th century. The richly chiseled, patinated bronze figures depict a baker's boy being called by a young girl. Both are dressed in wonderfully executed period clothing and hold baskets. One wears a baker's hat, while the other wears a charming bonnet. Each statue is raised on a circular base of griotte red marble. Both demonstrate exquisite attention to detail and beautiful facial expressions. Very fine bronze work in the 18th-century style, but executed in the early 19th century. Perfect condition, with minor chips to the marble edge (see photos). * Worldwide shipping ** Payment by bank transfer, check, PayPal, or credit card * Bank details: Tel: France: 0681013179 Tel: International: 0033681013179 Thank you for your visit
