Antique mirror dating from the second half of the 19th century. Carved wood decorated with a dragon embracing a rectangular mirror. Characteristic work of Gabriel Viardot. Gabriel Viardot (January 2, 1830 in Paris – March 19, 1904 in Paris) was a Parisian cabinetmaker specializing in the production of furniture freely interpreted in the "Chinese-Japanese style" and adapted to European taste in the last third of the 19th century. The mirror can be placed on a dressing table or hung on the wall. 68cm x 45cm. Very good condition.
