Cherrywood Sideboard, Louis-philippe Style – Late 19th Century
This elegant solid cherrywood sideboard embodies the timeless charm of the Louis-Philippe style. Its shallow depth makes it ideal for smaller spaces while still maintaining a striking presence. The upper section features three drawers, each with a brass pull knob. The drawer fronts are finished with a cyma molding, adding a touch of refinement. Below, three lockable doors provide complete functionality. The doors are equipped with functional locks and heart-shaped escutcheons, typical of the Louis-Philippe style. The door fronts feature recessed panels, highlighted by delicate moldings that enhance the classic character of the piece. The sideboard rests on a wide, molded plinth, topped with a cavetto molding. The two front feet, shaped like pedestals, add a touch of stability and elegance.
