"Plate With A Rooster - Early 19th Century"
Rooster Plate - Early 19th Century. High-fired plate with eight well-defined lobes. This type of plate could be attributed to either Lunéville or Badonvillers. These two factories produced similar plate shapes, often with the same decoration. However, the absence of decoration on the rim suggests this piece is more likely from the Badonvillers factory. Attention collectors! The plate has been restored on two levels, with two chips repaired at 12 and 7 o'clock. One tiny crack remains. Diameter 22.5 cm
