Epinal plate with a rooster on a fence - Late 18th - Early 19th century. A high-fired plate with 65 gadroons (specific to Epinal), a characteristic decoration of Epinal plates. Decorated with a rooster on a fence resting on a grassy mound. The rim is decorated with three bouquets. Good condition. Note several small chips visible on the edge (see photos). No cracks, no repairs. Diameter 22.7 cm
