An 18-karat gold photo locket pendant with a hinged lid, revealing two compartments with gold-rimmed glass for displaying a photograph. It is star-shaped, with the face chased with a floral garland set with half-pearls. The bail is also set with half-pearls. French work, Napoleon III period. Eagle's head hallmark. Weight: 7.80 grams.
