Wooden box originating from the High Vosges Mountains - Folk art - 19th century. Rectangular box/casket, possibly for a wedding, lacemaker, or "catch-all," made of wood carved with geometric shapes. Rustic hinges made of wire. Closes with one hook. Made of beech wood. Good condition, complete. Numerous woodworm holes (treated wood). Length 428 cm, width 16 cm, height 10.5 cm
