"Orientalist Painting By Anglada Pinto."
Portrait of a Man by Luis Anglada Pinto, circa 1930. A very beautiful painting by this great artist, a student of Antonio Caba at the Barcelona Academy of Fine Arts, born in 1873 and died in 1946. An Orientalist painter of the Spanish School, he remained a friend of José Maria Sert and Pablo Picasso, whom he met in Paris. This is a very fine portrait of a North African man with a magnificent turban. Note the exquisite rendering of the fabrics and the beautifully captured intensity of his gaze. The artist's signature is in the lower left corner, and the original wooden frame is present. A good-sized work, measuring 65.5 x 75 cm with the frame, it would be a fine addition to any collection. Excellent original condition. Shipping available within France and worldwide via secure, insured package with order tracking. Invoice and certificate of authenticity provided.
