Art Nouveau/art Deco Glass And Wrought Iron Sphere Floor Lamp, 1920-1930
Spectacular floor lamp at the transition between the Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods (1920-1930) in molded and pressed satin-finish glass. An imposing 26 cm diameter globe is decorated with butterfly wings in deep relief. Superb wrought iron tripod base adorned with roses and their leaves, repeated three times on the stem. The lamp is in perfect working order, having been rewired with a new switch and a long cable. It uses a bayonet socket. Dimensions: Height: 89 cm; Globe diameter: 26 cm; Distance between legs: 35 cm; Weight: 5 kg (Globe 2.7 g - Base 2.3 g). In good condition, entirely original.
