Cinnabar lacquer baluster vase decorated with two architectural landscapes depicting numerous islands, boats, vegetation, and small houses. The two views are very different: in one, a weeping willow dominates, while in the other, an umbrella pine takes its place. These landscapes are framed by floral motifs. Black decoration on a red background. Interior and base in midnight blue enamel. China, mid-20th century. Note: This vase is in very good overall condition. Cleaning could be refined.
