Overall dimensions: Height: 22 cm – Width: 23.5 cm – Depth: 12.5 cm. Dimensions of the bronze: Height: 19 cm – Width: 22 cm – Depth: 11.5 cm. This marble sculpture was Falconet's reception piece for the Royal Academy of Painting and Sculpture on August 31, 1754 (plaster model accepted on August 29, 1744, at the Salon of 1745, no. 170). It is now in the Louvre Museum.
