France, 1950s/1960s, a very pretty anthropomorphic ceramic trinket dish in an Africanist style. The top of the skull is hollow, glazed orange, allowing for the placement of small objects. A very slight indentation allows for the placement of a cigarette if needed. A quality creation in the style of Roger Capron in Vallauris. Dimensions: Total height 16 cm. The scale reference in the last photograph is a small model of a lighter from a well-known brand.
