Second Half Of The 18th Century Painted And Gilded Neoclassical Mirror

Refined mirror with a carved wooden frame, gilded with pure gold leaf, and painted. The mirror features neoclassical plant, floral, and geometric decorations on the front, which stand out against the aquamarine painted background imitating cipollino marble. The cymatium features two crossed torches, while the lower part ends with two plant curls and a garland wrapped in ribbons in the center. The mirror is original and made of mercury. This mirror exudes great taste and refinement, adding a touch of class and antiquity to any space. Made in Lucca in the neoclassical period, circa second half of the 18th century.
