Jacques Innocenti (1926-1958) studied at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. In late 1949, he began working for his parents, Odette Gourju and Lynba Naumovitch, at their "Grand Chêne" workshop in Vallauris. He then founded his own pottery in 1952 and worked there until his death in 1958. He also created beautiful engobe decorations on unique pieces for François Raty's "Les Argonautes" workshop.
