A rare and evocative coffee table designed by Nanda Vigo for Acerbis, Italy, 1971. This mid-century piece exemplifies Vigo’s radical yet refined approach to material and form, combining mirrored surfaces and glass in a composition that plays with light, reflection, and spatial perception.
The table features a 1.5 cm thick rectangular glass top with a frosted central band, resting atop a solid mirrored base that anchors the design with sculptural gravity. The interplay between transparency and opacity, lightness and solidity, creates a dynamic visual tension, true to Vigo’s avant-garde sensibility and her collaborations with the Italian Radical Design movement.
This collectible piece remains in very good vintage condition, with some traces of use consistent with age. A bold statement for interiors that embrace conceptual design, minimalism, or Italian postmodernism.
