A very beautiful sculpture by this great designer of the 1950s and 60s, who created a highly personal and original design, instantly recognizable—the mark of a true artist. Aldo Londi created highly original and varied forms with magnificent blues and surface incisions typical of his work. Here, a very handsome owl, 31 cm high, is very expressive and characteristic of the 1960s. This piece can be compared with our two other sculptures, a ram and a hen, in our Frank Maurel gallery.
