"The Beach, The Trees And The Sea"
This seaside view with its beach and boats sailing on the water is very peaceful. It was painted by Emile Lahner (1893-1980), a Hungarian painter active in France. He was a polymorphic artist, meaning he expressed himself in several styles. He made his first trip to the South of France around 1930, and it is likely that this work dates from that period.
