"Oak Chapel Opening Onto A Tiered Study"
A very beautiful piece from a chapel, undoubtedly of masterful craftsmanship, dating from the early 19th century. The porch can be pulled out to open the two doors of the nave. Two statues representing St. Peter and a saint are located in the doors, revealing a tiered cabinet with eight drawers. At the back of the nave are two stained-glass windows and a sacristy door with an opening. The nave roof is composed of imitation tiles surrounded by a balustraded path, surmounted by its bell tower and cross, ending with its lightning rod. The clock has a dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, and its pendulum is present and not jammed (though it needs servicing). A unique piece. Dimensions: Total height from the porch to the top of the lightning rod: 1.65 meters; Width of the porch: 66 cm; Nave: Width 54 x Depth 50 x Height 55 cm; Height to the top of the roof: 80 cm; Depth of the drawers: 20 cm. 18, 16, and 14 cm for the top one.
