"First Half Of The 18th Century Venetian Walnut Folding Cabinet"
Elegant and
sumptuous Venetian folding cabinet, entirely veneered in walnut and burl wood,
embellished with refined geometric motifs. The structure is distinguished by a
wavy front, featuring three drawers that open with a bronze key, ergonomic and
ideal for storing valuables. The upper part of the cabinet features a drop-leaf
top, which can be used as a writing desk: inside, it features two drawers, a
door, two shelves, and a secret compartment, offering ample storage space and
privacy. This piece, restored and in excellent condition, exudes great taste
and refinement, representing a classy furnishing accessory capable of enhancing
any space with elegance and style. Venetian manufacture (northern Italy), first
half of the 18th century (c. 1740).
