Tallandier, 1902. Contents: Photographic Development, Printing, Photographic Practice, and The Art of Photography. Frédéric Dillaye (1848-1917) began his career at the Ministry of Finance, which he left to devote himself to writing. He became a journalist in Paris, but it was as a novelist that he achieved success. He was one of the first to show an interest in the nascent art and technique of photography.
