"Enamel Plaque On Wood - Art Nouveau (20th Century)"
Art Nouveau (20th century) Enamel plaque on wood - Rectangular decorative plaque in colored enamel, set in a wooden frame. The enameled surface features a vertical composition of stylized flowers reminiscent of dandelions or graphic umbels. Two slender stems rise upwards, punctuated by vegetal spirals characteristic of a decorative vocabulary inspired by Art Nouveau. The background is a deep, luminous blue. Please note that the wood is slightly damaged at one corner (see photo). On display at Galerie Courcelles Antiquités, 41 rue des Acacias, in the 17th arrondissement of Paris.
