A stoneware salt cellar, turned, stamped, and glazed with cobalt blue, consisting of a round bowl resting on a rectangular base, decorated on all four sides with facing birds perched on intertwined scrolls. Germany, Westerwald, second half of the 18th century. Dimensions: height 7.8 cm - length 7.5 cm - width 6 cm. Good overall condition, minor firing flaws visible.
