Painted sheet metal lamp in the shape of a Tuscan column, in a "blood red" and gold color, 19th century.
Square base.
New wiring: gilded brass socket for an E27 screw-in bulb, new wire.
The power supply is routed through the inside of the base.
Its square Spanish-style lampshade was created from wallpaper with a hot air balloon motif and a golden ochre satin fabric.
