Pierre SUDRÉ (Bordeaux 1910 – Bordeaux 1976) “Still Life with Brushes” Oil on hardboard, signed lower left H: 59 x W: 73 cm Painter of Bordeaux origin, Pierre Sudré was a student of Paul Quinsac and Charles Lacoste at the municipal school of fine arts in Bordeaux. Exhibitions: Independent Bordeaux artists from 1930. A colorist with rigorous compositions, he painted the Basque Country, Provence, the Arcachon Basin, genre scenes, still lifes and portraits.
