"Rare Art Nouveau Head Decoration, Hairband Circa 1900."
A rare headband creating a striking headpiece. It was made between the late 19th and very early 20th centuries. The materials used are glass beads and imitation cultured pearls sewn onto a band of fabric embroidered with gold thread. The rounded sections are stiffened, likely by the addition of cardboard inside the headband. This garment is particularly rare and very attractive. Please note: this headband is in used condition. Very few beads are missing, there is some wear to the fabric, one snap fastener is missing, and another needs to be sewn on. Please examine the photos carefully.
