This is a Herend porcelain lidded biscuit box in the Queen Victoria (VBO) pattern, crafted in Hungary. The box is hand-painted with a multicolored motif of butterflies and flowers, which is based on a design first presented in 1851 at the Great Exhibition in London. The piece features a gilded rim, two branch-shaped handles, and three branch-shaped feet, all with applied rose decorations. The VBO designation stands for "Victoria avec Bord en Or," indicating the "Victoria with Gilded Edge" style of the pattern. Approximate Dimensions & Weight: 12 x 16.5 x With Handles: 20 cm
