"Large Vietnamese Bronze Incense Burner "
I am offering this large Vietnamese incense burner in nielloed bronze, inlaid with silver and decorated with various colored motifs depicting scenes of daily life, horsemen, and palace scenes. The burner rests on a base, also in nielloed and chased bronze. At the center of the base is a large symbol representing a blessing. This same Vietnamese incense burner was sold at Drouot and came from the collection of Bao Dai, the last monarch of the Nguyen dynasty. Diameter: 26 cm.
