Louis XVI Style Mahogany Chest Of Drawers From The 18th Century
An elegant Louis XVI period commode in solid mahogany and mahogany veneer, opening with three wide drawers with crossbars. Beautiful fluting adorns the uprights and it features original bronze handles. It is topped with a molded Sainte-Anne grey marble slab in excellent condition. Parisian work, circa 1780–1790. The commode is entirely original, including the oak base and back. It has a lovely patina. The locks and keyholes are original, but the key is missing. In good overall condition.
