his is a rare example, not in brass but in thick bronze.
It features very rich bronze ornamentation in the Regency style, with mascarons in the corners, open acanthus friezes, interlacing patterns, and a shell-shaped finial at the top.
Set on blackened wood to resemble ebony, the bronze ornamentation enhances the mirror.
The bronze has a patina.
The glass panes are beveled.

The mirror is quite heavy; ensure it is securely hung.
It dates from the mid-19th century, around 1860.
