Manufacturers of art cast iron in the second half of the 19th century. The Corneau brothers, Alfred and Émile, ironmasters, founded a foundry in 1846, working on commission. They specialized in ornamental cast iron, as well as the first household comfort items. Copied throughout the world, the talented Alfred Corneau designed creations that combined aesthetics and craftsmanship.
