Small, Curved, Dauphiné-style Commode In Walnut, 18th Century

Charming small Louis XV period solid walnut commode, dating from the mid-18th century.

Likely made in the Dauphiné region, as évidence by the quality of the walnut used and the construction at the back of the piece, as well as the flat sides, also known as "limandes."

This commode, with its light proportions, is also a versatile piece, ideal and easy to place in any type of interior thanks to its understated elegance.
It has a beautiful original patina, including the original bronze knobs and keyhole escutcheons.
It has been fully restored in our workshop, but to be honest, there is virtually no restoration at all!
It is in pristine condition and has only undergone a preventative treatment with Xylophene and has been waxed several times to achieve a beautiful glaze.
