- A four-compartment Art Nouveau perfume case or perfume bottle, chased and guilloché, featuring a solid silver iris design. It comprises: - Four engraved crystal bottles decorated with blooming irises and their delicately wheel-engraved foliage. - Four small crystal stoppers. - Four rounded solid silver stoppers decorated with leaves and blooming irises in relief. - A circular solid silver base mount featuring arabesques and blooming irises in relief with their foliage. - French Minerva hallmark with the number 1 on the Minerva's forehead, 1st standard 950/1000 expressed in thousandths, used in France from 1838 to 1973, present on the four rounded stoppers with the raised iris design, on the four rings around the necks of the bottles, and on the base mount. - Maker's mark in a lozenge shape, to be identified with a spoon and the letters HD on either side of the spoon, present on the base's mount, the four rings around the necks of the bottles, and on the rounded stoppers decorated with irises. - Interior of the base and the four rounded stoppers with irises, and the four rings around the necks of the bottles, in vermeil (gilt silver). - Art Nouveau period, circa 1890-1918. - Net weight of the solid silver: 78g. - Net weight of the perfume set: 365g.
