Splendid modernist ring in 18k white gold set with a substantial sapphire of approximately 7 carats, flanked by three small diamonds on either side. The sapphire is a beautiful, deep, satin-finished navy blue. The setting is well-set. Rare, handcrafted Art Deco mount. Hallmarked with an eagle's head. Rare French work from the 1930s-40s.
