Italian Console In The Style Of Paolo Buffa, 1950s
Artist: Style De Paolo Buffa, Années 1950
A refined Italian console table from the 1950s, crafted from walnut and featuring a magnificent herringbone veneer on the fronts of the four drawers. The side edges are finished with a cannetté finish, while the hanging brass handles are all original.
The top is made of original smoked glass, embellished with a delicate sculpted centerpiece, typical of the finest Lombard cabinetmaking of the period.
The console table rests on four tapered legs with brass tips, elegant and stable, directly reminiscent of the style of Paolo Buffa and the Milanese school of the 1950s.
