Important Giltwood Mirror, Louis XV style, Napoleon III period – very early 19th century. Magnificent giltwood mirror surmounted by a wide pediment of scrolls, leaves, and flowers. The molded frame of this large mirror is decorated with flowers and scrolls. The mercury glass is original to the period. A prestigious piece in remarkable condition.
Pièce spectaculaire par sa taille,
la profondeur et le volume de l’encadrement. Présence d'un cachet "au fer" Augustin Presson Paris, doreur actif vers 1850 répertorié dans l'Annuaire Almanach du Commerce et de l'Industrie en 1862.
