Reclining Nude By Karl Hofmeier (1858 Prague - 1934 Vienna)
This masterfully executed reclining nude was painted around 1880-1890, during the Belle Époque, by the Czech-Austrian painter and architect Karl Hofmeier (1858 Prague - 1934 Vienna). A member of the Albrecht Dürer Society, he exhibited in 1921 at the "70 Years of the Albrecht Dürer Society" exhibition, presenting numerous canvases (landscapes, cityscapes, flowers, and genre scenes).
