Pierre Grisot (1911-1995) "Katerine" Oil on panel - French School, 20th century. This painting depicts a young and pretty Parisian woman in the Bois de Boulogne, with horsemen in the background. Pierre Grisot, a post-war painter and former student of the École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, delighted us with ravishing female figures, coquettishly elegant, radiating a playful modesty—pretty Parisian women. And yet, Pierre Grisot was born in Besançon, but his precocious talent quickly led him to Paris. His work enjoyed great international success (London, Tokyo, Venice, the Middle East, etc.).
