A beautiful Art Nouveau period wall clock in wood marquetry depicting a Toulouse landscape with a sand diver on the Garonne River, typical of the La Ruche workshops. This is a very high-quality piece, marked Toulouse 1909, La Ruche in marquetry, with the initials GM in marquetry, and the motto "omnes vulnerant ultima necat," which could be translated as "they all wound, the last one kills." Height: 50 cm Width: 32 cm Depth: 14 cm In good condition, not serviced by a clockmaker but in working order, it is complete with its pendulum and keys, no missing parts or breaks, just a few typical cracks for an object of this age.
