Chronological Game 1830

Chronological Card Game, From the Novelty Shops, undated (circa 1830-1840). A magnificent example of this card game, which has become extremely rare, most copies of which, already very rare, are in black and white. This one is complete with all 32 cards, each hand-colored in the period style, housed in its original box. The front cover is illustrated with another engraved and hand-colored figure in period colors, and the front cover is bordered with gilt braid. The cards are in excellent condition, and the box is in very good condition, with only minor rubbing and insignificant flaws for a game often mishandled by children. This game, aimed at young people, allowed them to visualize and memorize major events in French and world history, sometimes with surprising choices regarding key events, presented from a contemporary perspective.
