"Trompe l'Oeil Carved Wooden Box/travel Trunk "
A very delicate and pleasing piece of carving, this cherry wood box is sculpted in trompe-l'œil to create a remarkably lifelike travel trunk. Admire its raised straps and handles, enhanced with brass accents, such as the lock with its charming little latch. The trunk is contoured at the top and bottom, with small notches suggesting topstitching. A small plaque on the top allows for personalization and engraving of a monogram.
