"Garcia De Diego Ciboure Sandstone Vase Circa 1930"
Stoneware vase from the Ciboure workshop, signed Garcia de Diego (1904-1969). Hand-painted decoration depicting a rural scene, typical of Basque pottery from the interwar period. The motif combines a geometric frieze at the neck with a figurative scene in a matte palette characteristic of the workshop. The stoneware has the slightly granular surface typical of Ciboure, with a uniform firing and a hand-painted decoration.
