"Relic Of Saint Paul The Apostle - 18th Century "
An important relic, encased in a bag, attributed to Saint Paul the Apostle, a major figure of early Christianity, sits at the center of this reliquary made of carved, polychrome, and gilded wood. German work from the late 18th century. In good condition – minor cracks in the wood and a small split in the glass.
Five wax seals on the back protect access to the relic.
Dimensions: 43 cm x 30 cm x 7 cm deep.
Only the reliquary is for sale; the relic is included.
