"Recliner Armchair, Circa 1900."
A charming Belle Époque (circa 1900-1920) recliner chair in the English Arts & Crafts style. It features a solid wood frame, wide armrests, and a backrest adjustable by a lateral ratchet mechanism. An original metal plaque beneath the seat reads: "F. Tisonia - 27 Rue du Colisée, Paris - Revue de Meubles Anglais," attesting to its Parisian provenance from a high-end dealer specializing in English furniture. The chair is sturdy and comfortable. The cushions are later additions and can be easily replaced to suit individual tastes. Condition: good overall condition, mechanism in working order.
