Charming and beautiful portrait of a child, depicting a young boy dressed in a brown velvet outfit and a blue silk cravat. It represents young Paul Ortiou at the age of 6. Oil on canvas, of good quality, original canvas titled in the upper right corner "Paul Ortiou" and signed by Ed Blanchard for Edouard Blanchard (1844-1879). A delightful painting!
