Raymond Enard (1902-1982) was an artist from the Poitou region. He studied at the École Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, was a member of the Salon des Artistes, and directed a teacher training center for drawing. His works are held in the museums of Laon, La Rochelle, and Niort. This painting depicts the Marais Poitevin, as he loved to paint it. It is beautifully framed. Frame dimensions: 76cm x 66cm (frame 8cm).
