Signed with the artist's monogram 'VS'.
Bears the foundry mark of Rudier "Alexis RUDIER Fondeur Paris".
Engraving on the pediment of the base (Marshal Foch): "1914 - Glory to our comrades from Polytechnique who died for France - 1918".
France, Art Deco period, circa 1920/30.
