Elegant and refined, this antique Chinese stool, dating from the second half of the 19th century, is distinguished by its black lacquered wood frame richly adorned with hand-painted gold and red floral motifs. Its curved, six-legged base offers a harmonious and light appearance, typical of traditional Asian furniture. The piece is crowned with a circular, polychrome cloisonné enamel metal top, featuring stylized decorative motifs in vibrant colors: blue, green, pink, and brown.
