"Art Nouveau Ceramic Bust, Circa 1900, Royal Dux Bohemia "
This ceramic bust was made by Royal Dux. The Royal Dux factory, a Bohemian porcelain brand, distinguished itself in the early 20th century with its Art Nouveau style productions. Around 1900, this important manufacturer produced vases and figurines, often female figures, in exuberant decorations of flowers and leaves on shell bases, fountains, etc. The porcelain was left in biscuit form, gilded or painted, often in green. This ceramic is typical of Art Nouveau, particularly for its vegetal and "noodle" motifs. The lower part is iridescent blue. We note a small imperfection in the hair; the rest is in superb condition. Our photos allow you to appreciate the quality of the object. For condition details, please examine the photos carefully. Do not hesitate to zoom in.
